Just before Christmas, Mike surprised Ted with a family ski trip in Whistler. It was a wonderful and well-deserved getaway. This family of five are all experienced skiers/snowboarders, so the trip was well chosen! Ted let us know of the great fun they had:
“As a collective memoir, we all decided that accomplishing one of the 99
things to do in Whistler with a flair was skiing/snowboarding the last run and “helping” out the Ski Patrol by getting a ride on the back of the snow
machine for 2 of 3 children, and my wife riding down on the sled with
our youngest behind a ski patroller as they did their last sweep down the
hill. The “sticky” snow prevented us from flying down on skis/snowboards! Individually, playing board games like Clue in front of the fireplace, buying binoculars as a souvenir for our youngest, and tubing down the tube hill were trip favourites. Last but not least, nothing else says local like walking through Whistler village with sleds whilst you are looking for a place to slide down!”
Congratulations Ted. Many Dialtone folk count on you every day and appreciate your approachability and indepth knowledge of this work.
